S&FS, PA specializes in performing soil evaluations for septic system suitabilty. We are licensed as soil scientists/classifiers in North and South Carolina. Our determinations follow current state onsite rules. From 0.5 acres to 500 acres S&FS assists landowners, surveyors, developers and engineers in identifying the capacity of a property to support subsurface septic systems. We perform preliminary and detailed level evaluations depending on the scope of the project. We perform drain field layouts and prepare septic system designs. S&FS personnel are authorized to prepare AOWE and EOP submittals within North Carolina. S&FS also provide septic related services in SC for DHEC review and approval.
Other soil related services we provide include seasonal high water table (SHWT) determinations for storm water design as well as saturated hydraulic conductivity measures. Using computer aided design software, GIS and GPS technology, we are able to collect accurate field data and produce a product in digital format. We have found this to be an efficient way to transfer data to engineers, surveyors and other clients.
